Suddenly people started to kill revenants. I am not against PKers being at the revenant caves, but I really do hate the fact that it is an organized paid service today. It really feels that if I need to do revenant caves, I first have to make an appointment with how to purchase osrs gold this shady clan, make a bargain, and then throw dinosaurs. This is ridiculous. It's not all about"oh only receive a clan of your own personal and combat them. "That's the thing, I'm not there to battle PKers. In reality, I avoid them. But when the meta of the revenant caves is basically"pay someone, otherwise GTFO", that's destroying the whole idea of revenant caves.
A good deal of the comments here seem to be missing the point. Revenants are earning a lot of gp in to RuneScape, likely more than has been taken out through the duel arena, and lots of this gp is moved through many RWT offers and the like. When revs were polled and announced, and had their own gp/hr and estimated, it probably presumed you would be ragged constantly so you wouldnt have the ability to kill uninterrupted. But with these paid security solutions, folks can create gp/hr that's far too high for any low demand method in OSRS. Something needs to change, because the money earned from Bounty Hunter farmers pales compared to Revenants.
Some JMods are in cahoots with clans. That is the reason why PVP updates have too much GP generated over the first few months until they eventually remove it. Why else do they make the exact same mistake again and again? If it comes to PVM/Skilling, they fix it. There's no way in hell it's because of"the people", as almost everyone agrees to eliminate x and y, but the jmods constantly go against it. There has to be something we are missing. The fact they constantly ignore the issue also, even Ash. Kind of tells me something shady is going on.
Possessing a high gp/hr method makes people want to keep doing this content, even if they're quite wealthy. Pretty much having greater gp/hr does not really change how long a individual plays as things adjust with inflation but having high exp/hr can make a person quit faster then intended. Consider it, if the maximum gp/hr method was only 1-2m for maximum gamers, then tbow wouldn't cost 1.2b, it is only that high because max players can make 5m-10m an hour.
They are just entirely different things rather than something it's possible to compare, like yeah having invoices can make where can i buy cheepes osrs gold a buyable skill but for many skills you are not modifying their exp rates by more then like 5-10%, even if you had a bil to spend. How would a high gp/hr strategy make players do it? They would prevent it once they run out of expensive things to purchase. But more significant is the fact that high gp methods are more detrimental to the market compared to high xp methods and therefore are more vulnerable to being gold farmed.
